Settlers destroy the solidarity tent — again

For the third time, our solidarity tent on the land has been torn down. We are filing an emergency motion with the court. Your support is urgent.

For the third time, the solidarity tent that Alice and her supporters erected on the family's land has been torn down.

The tent serves a legal purpose as much as a symbolic one: presence on the land is evidence that it has not been abandoned. Every time it's destroyed, we put it back up. Every time we put it back up, we're demonstrating to the court that this family is here, on their land, and they are not leaving.

What we're doing

Our legal team has filed an emergency motion with the court documenting this latest incident. We are asking the court to formally recognize these acts as interference with an ongoing legal proceeding.

This requires immediate legal action, and legal action costs money. If you've been meaning to give, now is the time. Every gift in the next two weeks goes directly to covering the cost of this emergency filing.

What you can do right now

  • Give to the legal defense fund
  • Share this update on social media with the tag #SaveAlMakhrour
  • Contact your denomination's leadership and ask them to make a statement of solidarity
  • Pray — and then act

Help fund the legal fight

Court filings and legal defense are what keep the family's land in their hands.
