Legal harassment update from Alice

A false case against Alice and her mother was closed for lack of evidence — now the Israeli police have reopened it without any new developments. The family needs roughly $40,000 to mount a legal defense.

Dear friends,

I'm writing to you today with a heavy heart and an urgent need.

Six months ago, a false case against my mother and me, accusing us of trying to run over a settler, was closed, not only due to a complete lack of evidence on the settlers' part, but also because a separate video clearly contradicted their claims. But now, without any new developments or new evidence, the Israeli police have reopened the case, purely as a means to pressure and exhaust us.

This isn't about justice. It's about control. It's about making our lives unbearable, draining us emotionally and financially, and trying to push us off our land.

We've received a quote from our lawyer to represent us in this case:

150,000 NIS (around $40,000 USD) plus legal fees.

This amount will cover two lawyers, one for me and one for my mother, as we are both being targeted in this case.

If the case is resolved without going to trial, our lawyer has said he can offer a significant discount, but we still need to raise enough to initiate the legal defense.

We are simply a mother and daughter trying to live with dignity on land that has been in our family for generations. These charges are not only false, they are part of a larger system that criminalizes our existence and tries to wear us down into silence or displacement.

Please, if you are able to contribute, share, or support us in any way, we would be deeply grateful. Every donation brings us closer to justice, and to staying in our home.

With love and hope,
Alice
